And for those of you who are unfamiliar with Manny, here’s a cool little backstory on the French bulldog. Born in Chicago on Feb. 7, 2011, Manny (named after boxer Manny Pacquiao) gained Internet fame after his owners Amber Chavez and Jon Huang began posting photos and videos of him on social media channels. He quickly gained fans on Facebook and on the just-developing platform, Instagram. By the time he was 2, Manny was being featured on Martha Stewart’s TV show and celebrities like Snoop Dogg became fans. One Amazon reviewer wrote “Having never seen or heard of Manny before, this book had me laughing and smiling at every turn of the page.” Manny’s ability to make us smile is one reason we love working with him. There’s a bunch ore details about Manny in this 2013 Huffington Post story, which includes the fact that Manny was the forgotten pup in his litter and Amber and Jon were given a deal from the breeder to take him home. These days, Manny has 1.8 million Facebook fans, 1 million fans in Instagram and 21,700 followers on Twitter. Manny’s fun-loving, optimistic manner if one we reason why we, like millions of others, have fallen in love with the little fellow. We’re happy to have him as part of our team. #French bulldog #Manny the Frenchie #Mountain Tribe Facebook Email Print Twitter
