We're Introducing The New Protect Line

We're Introducing The New Protect Line

Posted by Colleen Mason on 19th Mar 2018

Since the ‘90's The Mountain has been committed to using an environmentally friendly production process in order to make products that serve a higher purpose. Wanting to do more for the world, starting in 2014 we partnered with Operation Hat Trick to create designs that benefit and promote their programs for current and former service members, and soon after in 2015 we began to work with the Best Friends Animal Society by creating items that similarly promote and aid their rescue efforts.

But we still want to do more to help protect the environment, and especially the creatures that share our world. So today we are announcing our partnership with seven non-profit conservation organizations, listed below. For these organizations we created the Protect line, a fantastic series of 10 designs that stand out from our regular line-up.

We took photos of individuals from the world's most vulnerable, threatened or endangered species - lions, tigers, polar bears, giant pandas, leopards, rhinos, elephants, whales, sea turtles and honey bees - and printed them in white inks on black backgrounds with specifically chosen phrases to inspire calls to action. You’ll find these designs on our tri-blend shirts, spun-poly tote bags, 15-ounce coffee mugs and mesh-backed ball caps.

By wearing or using any of these items you make a statement that you stand to protect the environment and those who cannot help themselves.

To aid these organizations we have committed a percentage of the sale from each item to go the group associated with each design to achieve their environment and wildlife conservation goals.

You can find out more about each organization by following these links to their websites.
