Mountain Makers: The Ultimate Festival Flow Tank

Mountain Makers: The Ultimate Festival Flow Tank

Posted by Meghann Flemming on 4th May 2018

Who else just can't help but associate sunshine & warm weather with outdoor concerts? Spring has sprung and Festival Season has begun!!!

Coachella may have passed but there are still plenty more to come:
Electric Daisy Carnival
Electric Forest
Vans Warped Tour
Muddy Roots Music Fest
Austin City Limits

and Mountain Jam
... just to name a few.

Of course, once you choose your scene, the next most important question becomes "OMG what am I going to wear?"

NOT "Where am I going to sleep"
NOT "How am I going to pay for this"
Not EVEN "Will I lose my job if I hop into the back of this truck for a back roads adventure into Mexico with a mandolin player I just met?"

Heck no.

Those thoughts are for the birds ... or like, your parents. Am I right??

So back to what you are wearing.
Most importantly, invest in a killer pair of sandals. As tempting as it is to be barefoot & fancy free, there are WAY too many hazards on the ground.

Now let's talk pockets: you need them. We aren't even going to take the time to explain this one. You know you need pockets. To stay comfortable, cool AND have your essentials at your finger tips, we recommend cut off jean shorts or a flowy skirt ... again, with pockets.

To top it all off, you DEFINITELY need an awesome, One-Of-A-Kind, statement making tank top.
What's that you say? You don't have one??
The Mountain® has got ya covered - breathe new life into one of our epic tees (or ya know, one of your own. who's counting, right?) DIY style!

In this edition of The Mountain Makers we show you how to turn an oversized tee into a funky-fresh-easy-breezy flow tank ...

With just one shirt, a pair of scissors and about 10 minutes, you too will have the perfect shirt to pair with a flower in your hair.

Still looking for more inspo? You're in luck! We've been putting together a video series of do-it-yourself tutorials on how to turn your favorite old shirts into something new and awesome. We're calling this project The Mountain Makers. Every two weeks we'll post a new video here on the blog, and you'll be able to find older videos on our YouTube Channel. Make sure to like and subscribe so that you get notified when new videos are posted.

Now, who's ready to make some noise and dance all our worries away?
