It's Caturday. Finally! I've been waiting an entire week and it is, at last, time to pull out my favorite animal t-shirt from The Mountain and channel my inner cat. To start, I locate the best Mountain tee ever designed, "Fanny Pack Kittens." This is my spirit t-shirt. I love the color purple, I love fanny packs, and I LOVE kittens. Clearly the artists at The Mountain designed this unique cat shirt with me in mind.

After I wear and wash, I like to leave my Fanny Pack Kittens Mountain T-Shirt on top of my dresser so She-Ra (one of my real-life cats) can use it as a bed. I've found that having her cat hair woven into the cotton fibers of the t-shirt really adds to the powerful properties in which the shirt imbues. Once dressed (t-shirt and sweats only for Caturday) I find my favorite sunny spot on the couch and settle in for a three-hour nap. This ritual is so refreshingly anti-social and truly restores my soul.

Once I wake, I enjoy a snack and find humor and intense satisfaction in knocking everything off the kitchen island. Throughout the course of my busy week, clutter, toys, unopened mail, dishes, and random bits and doodles materialize there. It suffocates me to the extreme, so unsmiling, I nonchalantly take one grandiose swoop and instantly open up the feng shui of the room. Without my Fanny Pack Kittens t-shirt, I would not dare make this brassy move. Without my spirit tee, I am powerless; I analyze and shrink back in self-doubt. When I'm wearing my beloved cat t-shirt, I hold the power to not give a flying squirrel about consequences. Meow!

This one act is so rejuvenating, that I decide to celebrate with a drink. Use a glass? Ha! Chalices are pedestrian and archaic. I choose, with my emboldened spirit, to drink straight from the tap. I embrace nonconformity. I am self-sufficient and revolutionary in my Mountain t-shirt. In Fanny Pack Kittens, enriched with She-Ra's furry powers, I am unstoppable.
