Hey Mountain Tribe! We’re putting together a video series of do-it-yourself tutorials on how to turn your favorite old shirts into something new and awesome. We're calling this project The Mountain Makers. We’re doing this because we love art and the environment, so we’re embracing the reduce, reuse and recycle ethos by finding ways to give old clothing a second life. Added bonus, it’s a ton of fun cutting up old shirts and seeing what we can make.

The first video - How To Make A Slashed And ReHashed Tunic Tank - is perfect for music festivals and parties. Plus this project is an easy way to get your feet wet if this is your first attempt at DIY.

All you need is a sharp pair of scissors, a shirt that’s about two sizes bigger than what you normally wear and 20 minutes of free time. Enjoy!
